Our Ambition
Our ambition has always been driven by one core mission: to support and empower women. Initially, our goal was to help 1 million women, but thanks to the dedication and passion of our community, we are proud to share that, from 2011 until the end of 2024, we’ve reached over 1.2 million women.
That’s over 1.2 million hours of support, guidance, and empowerment - a true reflection of our commitment to making an impact.
Looking ahead, we're setting our sights even higher. Over the next decade, our goal is to help 10 million women through our expanded services, and we know that, together, we can achieve this bold, transformative vision.
Our Values
Our values provide a strong foundation of purpose, integrity, and commitment. They help us make sure that every action we take is aligned with our mission to empower women and create lasting, meaningful change:

Research by UN Women explains that globally, “women are paid less than men, are less likely to work, and when they do are more likely to work in informal and vulnerable employment.
Despite years of effort and legislation, we can see that progress towards gender equality remains slow. Existing solutions often fail to address the root causes of inequality, discrimination, and harassment in the workplace. The uncomfortable truths are ignored and there are no consequences for organisations to not achieve their equality measures.
Women of Our Time seeks to redress this balance, and make a genuine difference to the gender landscape, by harnessing the power of the individual, and the influence of organisations.

Connections that work. Connections that matter. Connections that transform. By creating a global community, using digital platforms to make connections easy the Women of Our Time Womeniverse.
For years, men have networked at golf, over drinks, through school tie affiliations and members clubs, while women have been on the outskirts of these opportunities. Women of Our Time is like an exclusive (but not exclusionary) club, where women are empowered to receive advice and guidance, but also to share their expertise through our ‘donate an hour’ approach. We are formalising the informal network that exists ...if you are lucky enough to know someone who can help.
It’s ‘I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine,’ but without the funny handshakes and power struggles. For women, by women. Helping women find the freedom to thrive. It’s a unique proposition. There are three key tenets to what we offer:

At Women of Our Time, we’re not just building a network – we’re creating a whole new constellation of connections. Imagine a vast galaxy, made up of countless stars, each representing an individual, an organisation, or a movement that aligns with our mission. Just like the stars in a constellation, each one shines with its own unique light, contributing to the greater brilliance of the whole.
Together, we form a powerful, interconnected web. Each star, from a single advocate to an entire organisation, is involved in creating new constellations within the WOOT universe, our Womeniverse, much like Ursa Major or Orion. This new constellation reflects the strength of our collective spirit and the transformative power of each connection we make, lighting the way for millions of women worldwide.
Our constellation, with its millions of opportunities, starts with the individual at its core. We believe empowering one woman can spark a ripple effect, creating a chain of opportunities for many. By resourcing each person - whether through knowledge, support, or connections - we provide the foundation for transformation. As these individuals grow, they light the way for others, building a constellation of women who inspire and uplift one another. This approach not only supports personal growth but also creates a collective force for positive change, making sure every woman has the tools to seize her opportunities and share them with the world.
At a time when women still face barriers in the workplace , stifled career progression , unequal pay, discrimination, the pressure of work life balance, the WOOT Womeniverse is creating an accessible and lasting solution. Through building a network of volunteer experts, businesses and professional women the platform offers credible, trusted information advice and guidance at no cost.

Growing our community is about creating meaningful connections that empower and amplify the voices of women everywhere. We do this by fostering a space where women can share their experiences, support one another, and collaborate to make a real difference. We’re a global community of women who embody the WOOT spirit - connected, supportive, and driven to uplift one another. While each of us may bring our mission to life in different ways, we are united by a shared passion, purpose, and identity.
These women are more than part of the movement - they are Women of Our Time. They actively stand up for women, advocate for equality, and push for positive change in their own workplaces, industries, and communities. They are role models who lead by action, not just words. They see the change that’s needed and take responsibility to shape it, making sure every voice is heard.
Our tribe is built on reciprocity. We celebrate and support what our members do, and they advocate for us because they truly believe in our mission. While there’s no obligation to be part of the tribe beyond sharing in our vision, these women naturally live and breathe our values, inspiring others to do the same. Together, we are building a thriving community that continues to evolve, innovate, and support women in achieving their fullest potential.
If someone who doesn’t yet know WOOT sees a member of our tribe, they instantly ‘get’ who we are and what we stand for. These women embody the spirit, passion, and drive of WOOT. They are advocates for empowerment, inclusion, and progress - not just for themselves, but for all women, everywhere. They remind us that real change happens when we come together. And as Molière said:
